Patient-Engagement Toolkits

The Foundation to Advance Vascular Cures has developed evidence-based toolkits to facilitate patient engagement in research. The toolkits feature a case study on Chronic Limb-threatening Ischemia (CLTI) and how patient partners can be engaged in research to improve outcomes for all.

Check out these toolkits to learn about strategies and lessons learned in engagement of patient partners. One toolkit is aimed at patient partners, to provide valuable information on what research engagement looks like. One toolkit is aimed at researchers and other stakeholders, to help them in planning and implementing patient engagement in their research.

This set of toolkits was funded through a Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) Eugene Washington PCORI Engagement Award (EA #21136-VC). The statements presented in these toolkits are solely the responsibility of the Foundation to Advance Vascular Cures and do not necessarily represent the views of the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute® (PCORI®), its Board of Governors or Methodology Committee.
