This year’s Vascular Health Innovation Summit explored the role of digital health addressing vascular health disparities. Artificial intelligence and machine learning approaches to address conditions such as aortic dissection, hypercholesterolemia, and venous thromboembolism offer promise to reach a larger group of patients in an innovative and equitable way. Our discussions centered on leveraging AI to enhance disease prediction and treatment, ensuring data integrity to mitigate bias, and fostering patient engagement through innovative digital tools. Experts from leading academic institutions—including UC San Francisco, Stanford, UC San Diego, Ohio State, Duke, and University of Pennsylvania—shared valuable insights into AI-driven care. Working group sessions focused on strategies to reach underrepresented communities and engage patients effectively. We are proud to have created a collaborative, patient-oriented convening space with this Summit.
