Co-Chairman of the Foundation to Advance Vascular Cures
Wendy Hitchcock was CEO of the Foundation to Advance Vascular Cures from 2009 to early 2019 and has over two decades of executive leadership in life science research and healthcare organizations. Prior to becoming CEO of Vascular Cures, she held CXO roles in both private and public biotech and medical device companies developing innovative products to address critical medical needs including in vascular health. In the fall of 2020, Wendy was elected to the board of Wake Forest University Baptist Health (WFUBH). In late 2020 WFUBH joined together with Atrium Health to be a single enterprise, Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist. Wake Forest Baptist Health and Wake Forest School of Medicine are the academic core of Atrium Health, building a second campus of the school of medicine in Charlotte. The new Atrium Health will not only be a center of excellence for medical care and academics, but also a catalyst for health innovation and economic development. The Innovation Quarter in Winston-Salem will anchor the new high-tech corridor as it expands to Charlotte. Wendy received her MBA from UCLA and BA from Brown University.
