Dr. John Byrne, @UofTVascular surgeon has won the prestigious #WylieScholar award, given to ONE surgeon-scientist in North America each year. Dr. Byrne becomes on the second Canadian to ever win the honour. The first Cdn winner was our Medical Director @drbarryrubin in 1998.
